Suggestions, Praise and
Complaints
We all try our best to offer
you a State of the Art General Practice, within the limits of what the NHS
resources will allow. We know that we are not perfect, (though we all aspire to
that)
Sadly, sometimes, even though
we all wished things had turned out differently, there simply is nothing that we
might have done differently on the information available to us at that time when
things started. That is the nature of General Practice.
Sometimes, of course, being a
good Doctor might bring us in conflict with what you might expect- we might
disagree that you need a Sick Note, for instance.
All the doctors keep a
portfolio of your complaints, suggestions and praise that we discuss when we are
"Appraised" by other Doctors, to try to keep us practicing General
Practice as well as we can.
If you have a Complaint,
Suggestion or Praise , we would like to hear from you, so that we may try to
learn from it.
Please understand that you
must be specific, naming names and dates
if we are to look into your matter.
Please say what you want to happen, be it
•
an apology
•
an admission of fault
•
mechanisms to stop the same thing happening again
•
praise & thanks to sent to an individual.
